Happy Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving and as usual it was full of lots of family and friends.  This year what I was most thankful for is that my family and Bret's family get along well, and we can all get together for one big meal.  It makes holidays so much easier for us, and my girls and Bret's sister's girls always get to be together!  There is nothing better than cousins. 

 

 

This year Thanksgiving also happened to fall on my sister's birthday so we got to wish Auntie Lizzy a happy birthday too.  Abby even turned Papa into one of Lizzy's presents. 

 



Homecoming Week



Homecoming week this year was so much fun for the girls. Every day was a different themed dress up day, and they had so much fun. I love that the high school includes the little kids in their celebrations. The girls have a blast every year.

Harry Potter Halloween

Harry Potter has taken over our house!  Abby and Macey have read all seven of the Harry Potter books twice, and Shelby just finished the first book.  Pretty good for a first grader!  They absolutely loved them and now all they do is play Harry Potter together.  So when Halloween rolled around, it only made sense that they dress up as the characters from their favorite book. They looked adorable!

Catch Up

Once again, I'm playing catch up.  How did so much time go by?  I had actually convinced myself that I should just give the blog up, but I am already realizing how many sweet and silly things my girls do and say that I just don't want to forget.  So I'm back and determined to stay on top of it this time!  It helped that I had been blogging, but I didn't want to post them till I could add pictures and there never seemed to be enough time for that.  This next week  I am determined to get the pictures added and try and do better from here on!  Scroll down for all my post dated posts.  Post dated Posts doesn't sound right, but I'm not sure what else to put there.  :)

Christmas Eve (part two)

The first part of Christmas Eve was spent at Bret's mom's apartment with his family.  The afternoon was full of quality family time, lots of excited kiddos, presents, and cookies.   I even snuck in a little snuggle time with my cutie patootie nieces.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Happy Birthday To You, Cha, Cha, Cha

The girls love adding the "Cha, Cha, Cha" part to Bret's birthday song every year.  I'm not sure where it came from, but it makes us laugh every time they do it!
